Funding

The Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT) awards doctoral scholarships and doctoral positions to promote cooperative doctorates:

1. Doctoral scholarships are granted twice a year to highly qualified graduates for the preparation or final financing of doctoral projects. The scholarships amount to 1,250 euros per month and run for 12 months. A one-time extension of the scholarship for a further 6 months is possible upon application.

2. Qualification positions for doctoral studies (TV-L 13; 75%) are awarded once a year by the BHT in a competitive procedure to the university's professors with strong research skills. The approved positions are then announced publicly.
